Philosophy
Hexon operates according to a number of principles when it comes to DV.
- First and foremost, Hexon acts impartial. This means that all parties are treated equally and there is no preference. Hexon creates links with all inventory management systems and sites, regardless of their backgrounds, target audiences and competitors.
- Second, Hexon is solely a technical party. With DV, Hexon facilitates the advertising of objects on sites on behalf of advertisers and/or resellers. Hexon tries to stay clear of commercial arrangements between advertisers, resellers and sites.
- Hexon will not actively exploit an inventory management system, nor will Hexon actively exploit a site. This to ensure Hexon can never be regarded as a rival or competitor.
- The ownership of data (client data, vehicle data, resulting data of the advertisements) lies with the advertiser (or, in case of a reseller, with the reseller on behalf of the advertiser). The advertiser (or reseller) determines what can and cannot be done with the data.
- The advertiser (or the reseller) is DV's customer. Although Hexon listens closely to input from sites, the advertiser always has the upper hand.
