One of the advantages of DV is having uniform pricing across all sites. The price is therefore always an attribute of the object, not of the ad. There are however cases where one might want to list the same object using different prices. For example when listing vehicles abroad (see below) or with different sales conditions (see II.3.16. Building blocks and delivery packs).
DV supports different price fields for an object, the main ones being:
By default, the B2C price will be considered an asking price. But this can be changed to one of the following:
Each price field can consist of multiple values. For example, the B2C price can be entered in multiple currencies, or with or without VAT. DV will match all these values with the supported types of a site. Some sites only support one currency (in which case DV will only advertise the first one) and others support listing an object in multiple currencies.
When advertising abroad, one can specify the price on a per-country basis. For example use a different price for Germany and France. It is also possible to add a worldwide price for countries not explicitly specified or a price to use in foreign countries (i.e. the price to use when exporting the vehicle). Depending on the country targeted by a site, DV will automatically select the correct price. This behaviour can also be modified using settings.
DV also supports making offers on objects (for sites that support this as well). An advertiser can enter a lower limit for offers. If not specified, offers made by customers can be as low as zero, unless the price type is set to fixed price. Then offers should start at the B2C price.
Allowing offers can be turned off on a per object or per site basis.
