The title of an object is a multilingual field that describes both the main attributes like make, model and type, as well as some specific highlights of this specific object. It is used to create the advertisement title on the site.
However, some sites do not allow for composing your own title and use specific fields like make, model and type to compose a title on their own. To still have influence on the resulting advertisement title, DV also supports a (multilingual) type supplement field which DV will append to the normal type.
It is therefore advisable to supply both a title and a type supplement. If no title is given, DV will compose the title using the make, model, type and type supplement.
Given the following object:
Title (English) | Alfa Romeo Brera 2.2 JTS with only 87.000 km |
---|---|
Make | Alfa Romeo |
Model | Brera |
Type | 2.2 JTS |
Type supplement (English) | with only 87.000 km |
This would result in the following title if DV is allowed to compose the advertisement title:
Alfa Romeo Brera 2.2 JTS with only 87.000 km
(DV will use the object title)
And if the site will compose the advertisement title:
Alfa Romeo Brera 2.2 JTS with only 87.000 km
(DV cannot send the object title, but will concatenate the type and type supplement, thus sending 2.2 JTS with only 87.000 km
as the object type to the site, giving the same end result)
