Besides the always available data described on the previous page DV also collects and forwards lead information. A lead is a potential customer expressing interest in an object the advertiser has for sale, or in the advertiser in general. Examples are offer requests or requests for a test drive.
DV only functions as a forwarder. Incoming leads are immediately sent to the lead management system of the advertiser and then forgotten. If the lead management system cannot be contacted DV will retry sending the lead for up to 8 hours. There is no option to fetch lead data from DV.
DV has interfaces with all the widely used systems (and a general interface, see below). The API lists all the available interfaces, as well as the sites that provide DV with leads.
In order for DV to relay the lead information back to the advertiser, DV needs to know which lead management system the advertiser uses and possible some account details. This information can be managed using the API or DV Admin. Only one lead management system can be active (per advertiser).
For advertisers with a custom or unsupported lead management system DV offers a generic lead interface, allowing for the advertiser (or a third party on behalf of the advertiser) to receive raw lead information through HTTP requests sent by us. Technical information can be found at https://www.doorlinkenvoorraad.nl/lead_interface/.
