Integration process

These steps describe the standard procedure Hexon follows when connecting a new inventory management system to DV.

1. The supplier of the inventory management system and Hexon determine whether the supplier is a reseller, partner or end user.
2. The method used to transfer vehicle data is determined.
3. Hexon sends the supplier a quotation.
4. The supplier signs the quotation.
5. Further technical details are discussed.
6. The supplier starts the integration of DV, focussing on sending vehicle data to DV.
7. The supplier creates some samples and send them to Hexon.
8. Hexon starts the development of the link at their end, based on the agreed format and the sample files.
9. Hexon sets up a test environment for the supplier.
10. The supplier tests the interface.
11. The interface is put into production and tested with a pilot user.
