To terminate an active advertiser, a reseller only needs to make a single call to the API. This automatically closes all related items, like accounts.
The advertiser will no longer be visible in the API. It can be reactivated using the normal procedure.
To explicitly state what needs to happen with the existing advertisements on the sites, the accounts should be terminated manually before terminating the advertiser.
Another option is to use DV Admin.
